nesting...

So I have been starting to get things ready for the baby, so I started to get my hospital bag ready. But I need help! I need to have some ideas of what exactly I should bring to the hospital for the baby and for myself. Also I have taken some pictures of some sleepers that I will potentially bring him home in but I need opinions on which one you all the like the best. I want to bring him home in a sleeper so he is comfy and it is not much work for me and Mike. So here are the options....

Option #1
Option #2

Option #3

Option #4

Please let me know what you think.... If you dont like any of them that is fine dont worry I won't be offended. Thanks for the help!

ROAD TRIP!!!!

Lets go on a Road Trip...

Yea!!! Lets go to Jackson Hole!

The view on the way...I loved it!!!

Ripley's Believe It Or Not in Jackson

The deer (or elk I really dont know what it is) Mike wishes he had

Random fisherman made out of stuff

Mikes dads fuzzy boots

A little bonfire!

The hot dogs were good but it was freezing outside!

And..the baby update...I am 7 months along and it is getting pretty hard to move around. I never knew how hard it would be to actually sit up out of bed but that seems to be the worst. This picture is horrible of me but as you can see I am getting rather large. We saw the doctor the other day and everything is going perfectly. That is all for now!

birthdays, graduation, family and fun!

This past week was filled with a lot starting with Mikes brother Jeremiah graduating from high school. Last Wednesday we drove up to Star Valley for his graduation and had a really good time hanging out with family. Mike stayed up there to help his dad around the house but I had to leave the next morning cause I had to work. I stayed in Idaho Falls both Thursday and Friday by myself and then headed back up to Star Valley to spend Mikes 21st birthday with him. I was sad that I didn't get to spend the whole day with him but happy that I got to have ice cream and cake with him and his family. I am so glad that he is finally 21, I don't feel so bad about the age difference between us now. For his birthday he got clothes from me, new tires that he really wanted from his parents, and so money from my parents, he was happy about all his gifts. After spending one more night with his family we headed home the next day back to Idaho Falls. Then this past Sunday we had the wonderful opportunity to come together as a family again and watch Mike get ordained and Elder. He dad did his blessing and it was great. I am so proud of him, he has really come along way and has accomplished a lot in the past few months. I love him so much and he is such a great example to me. After church we had the whole family over to our apartment for an amazing roast and potato dinner. All in all it was a really good week and we had a lot of fun hanging out with the family. As far as the baby update...I am now 25 weeks along which is totally crazy to me. Only about 3 months left and we will get to meet our little baby. The he is moving like crazy and kicking me like he is going to be a soccer player, but it is so fun to feel him moving. Mike has finally been able to feel him move a lot and its cool to have him be a part of this with me. Anyways that is the news for now..love you all!

cruel, cruel, cruel summer....

Well I am trying to prepare myself for how hot and uncomfortable I am going to be this summer. The summer has just barely begun and I already find myself sweating. Lucky for me our new apartment has AC and an outdoor pool, so I think I should be alright. I have already spent some of the beautiful days outside laying out by the pool and I have managed to get pretty sun-burnt. While on the other hand Mike has developed the worst farmers tan from working outside and going fishing all the time.
We decided to go miniature golfing last night for our weekly date and we had a blast. We played twice and the first time we just goofed around and played for fun, but the second time we kept score to see who would win. Having not golfed in years I thought I would totally lose, but after my amazing game including a hole in one I managed to beat Mike by 3 strokes. All in all it was so fun to be outside and spend the evening with my husband. I am trying to get things in order for my baby showers one in California, one in Idaho, and one with his family in Wyoming. It sounds like a lot but I am excited. I have started registering at Target, the name on our registry is Jessica and Mike's Baby Boy if you would like to take a look at it. If you can think of anything that you recommend that we register for or that we really need to have please let me know.
We are excited about our up coming lake trip with my family
(if Mike can get work off) We will be spending a week at Lake
Nacimiento in California from June 26-July 3rd. This trip is an annual family trip in which we wakeboard, water ski, go tubbing, and just have fun spending time together. I am excited that this is the first year I get to spend this trip with my husband and watch him attempt to wakeboard. Although I am a little disapointed that at my current physical state I will not be able to enjoy any of the normal activites but I am excited non the less to hang with my family. Well that is the update for now...keep checking in!

4 months left

I feel so bad because I have been neglecting my blog but its not my fault cause we haven't had the internet for the longest time so I have an excuse. Well things in the Lainhart world are going really well. Mike is now consistently working 30 hours a week at Lowes which is wonderful although it is only part time for now but that's alright. The baby is doing great! Mike celebrated my first mothers day by making me dinner and giving me some super cute scrapbooking stuff for when the baby comes. With only 4 months left to go we are both getting really excited and can't wait to see are little boy. I am hoping that he comes out looking like Mike because he would be such a cute baby if he did. I have been feeling great, besides the horrible horrible back pain. Seriously I dont know what it is but its been getting worse and I know it doesn't get any better from here on out, oh well. We moved into a new apartment which is really nice but we sadly had tot give up our little puppy Monty! I cried for a few nights about it but the good thing is that he is in California with my parents so I know he is doing good. Well that the update for now and I will try not to neglect my blog anymore. Oh and here is a 5 month picture of me and our baby Logan...

IT"S A BOY!!!!

We're having a boy! We are both so excited and can't wait to meet him. We are thinking of naming him Logan Rex Lainhart which my dad came up with. He looks very healthly and he is growing bigger everyday. We already went out and bought him some cute outfits to wear and can hardly wait to see him in them. I am starting to feel more and more uncomfortable and my back hurts everyday, but everyone syas don't complain yet cause it only gets worse. I will try to put some ultrasound pictures up later. Let us know what you think about the name. Love you all!

Apirl 16th!!!!!

We finally found out that April 16th is the official date that we will know the sex of our baby. That is if he or she is not being shy. I don't care though I will stay in the doctors office all day until the baby un-crosses their legs if that is the case. We both can't wait to find out because it seems like once you know the sex you can really start planning and it becomes so much more real. Now that I am into my 13th week and the first trimester is over I have been feeling so my more energetic, its been great! My sister in law Sarah and her husband James finally had their beautiful baby girl Makaela on March 7th which is also my moms birthday. We are going down to Utah on Saturday to meet her for the first time and hopefully I will get Sarah to give me all the horror stories about child birth. Mike is still looking for a job, he takes a test to be apart of the Rexburg Police on the 19th so we are hoping and praying that works out if not we are going to be making some huge changes to our lifestyle because it is getting very hard. So please keep us in your prayers! Well for now we love you and hope you'll check back with us!
