VACATION!!!!!

We just got back from a well deserved and very much needed vacation to California to see my family. It started with a 12 hour drive down to Orange County and the next day we had a baby shower with the people from my home ward and extended family. It was awesome cause we got almost everything that we needed such as a swing, stroller/carseat, pack-n-play, crib bedding, some play mats, baby monitor, clothes, and of course DIAPERS! We also got some gift cards so I was able to purchase the crib and the mattress as soon as we got back. But I must say the best part of the trip was the Lake!!! On Sunday, after church, my family and close family friends the Neilsons headed up to Lake Nacimento which is about 5 hours north of where my parents live. It was SO much fun! Mike was able to fish, wakeboard, skurf, and tube and went from having a farmers tan to having a California tan. I on the other hand did not get to participate in most of the activites. Being 7 months pregnant at the lake doesn't really allow you to do any of the extreme sports, but I had so much fun working on my tan, spending time with my family, and playing in the water. After a week long vacation we had to head home cause Mike had to be back to work. The drive home was miserable and we were all wishing we could be back louging at the beach. Here are some pictures from our adventures....love you all!

Happy Fathers Day!

To my Dad....

I love my dad so much! He has done so much for my family that I am forever grateful to him. He has worked hard all his life so that we can have a good life and can have the things that we need. I am grateful that he taught me to be a strong person and taught me the value of hard work. I could not ask for a better man in my life and I am excited that my baby will have such a great grandfather!

AND
To the Father of my Baby....

I could not asked for a better man to be my childrens dad. My husband is the most hard working man I know. He treats me so amazingly and I know that he will be the greatest dad in the world. I can not wait until are baby is here so that he can met his amazing father and learn so many things from him. I love Mike so much and I am so grateful to have him in my life.

family pictures and a BIG belly

Yesterday we took family pictures on the Lainhart side. It was the first time that we have all been together in a long time so we decided that it needed to be done. It was fun being with the whole family, but after looking at the pictures I feel rather huge. Here are some of them...

nesting...

So I have been starting to get things ready for the baby, so I started to get my hospital bag ready. But I need help! I need to have some ideas of what exactly I should bring to the hospital for the baby and for myself. Also I have taken some pictures of some sleepers that I will potentially bring him home in but I need opinions on which one you all the like the best. I want to bring him home in a sleeper so he is comfy and it is not much work for me and Mike. So here are the options....

Option #1
Option #2

Option #3

Option #4

Please let me know what you think.... If you dont like any of them that is fine dont worry I won't be offended. Thanks for the help!

A little bonfire!

The hot dogs were good but it was freezing outside!

And..the baby update...I am 7 months along and it is getting pretty hard to move around. I never knew how hard it would be to actually sit up out of bed but that seems to be the worst. This picture is horrible of me but as you can see I am getting rather large. We saw the doctor the other day and everything is going perfectly. That is all for now!

birthdays, graduation, family and fun!

This past week was filled with a lot starting with Mikes brother Jeremiah graduating from high school. Last Wednesday we drove up to Star Valley for his graduation and had a really good time hanging out with family. Mike stayed up there to help his dad around the house but I had to leave the next morning cause I had to work. I stayed in Idaho Falls both Thursday and Friday by myself and then headed back up to Star Valley to spend Mikes 21st birthday with him. I was sad that I didn't get to spend the whole day with him but happy that I got to have ice cream and cake with him and his family. I am so glad that he is finally 21, I don't feel so bad about the age difference between us now. For his birthday he got clothes from me, new tires that he really wanted from his parents, and so money from my parents, he was happy about all his gifts. After spending one more night with his family we headed home the next day back to Idaho Falls. Then this past Sunday we had the wonderful opportunity to come together as a family again and watch Mike get ordained and Elder. He dad did his blessing and it was great. I am so proud of him, he has really come along way and has accomplished a lot in the past few months. I love him so much and he is such a great example to me. After church we had the whole family over to our apartment for an amazing roast and potato dinner. All in all it was a really good week and we had a lot of fun hanging out with the family. As far as the baby update...I am now 25 weeks along which is totally crazy to me. Only about 3 months left and we will get to meet our little baby. The he is moving like crazy and kicking me like he is going to be a soccer player, but it is so fun to feel him moving. Mike has finally been able to feel him move a lot and its cool to have him be a part of this with me. Anyways that is the news for now..love you all!
