Little Lainhart on the way!!!

Well we're having a BABY!!!! We are really excited! We can't wait to bring our baby into the world, it is such a blessing to have the opportunity to be parents and we are so grateful for the wonderful little baby on its way. The baby is due sometime in September and I am about 6 weeks along give or take a few days and for the most part I have been feeling fine. I have been really really tired but that is about it. We have our first doctor visit on February 11th and we can't wait to hear the babies heartbeat. Well we will keep you updated, and any moms or pregnant people I could use any advice you have for me cause I don't really know what I am doing or what to expect. Thanks!

You should stalk up on Tums now cuz they will be your best friend when you get heartburn later on. ha I'm so excited for you two! You are going to be great parents! Our kids will be the bestest of friends!

Congrats! That's exciting for you guys. Amen to the Tums...and Tylenol cuz that's pretty much the only things you can take when you are prego. Also, if you get sick taking the prenatals, Flinstone vitamins will do the trick till you can stomach the real stuff. Good luck!!

Hey Jessica, I got the books "What to expect when you are expecting." They are great. They talk about all kinds of subjects and you can look them up by the month and the side effects and so forth and it tells you what to do. Just enjoy being pregnant. I also kept a journal for my baby (Beau) when I was pregnant with him (E-ons ago) It was neat for him to read now and see how I was feeling and what was going on in my life while I was expecting him.

Oh, another thing. If you get plugged up, sorry to be gross but you can take Centrum Silver, it doesn't have Iron in it and that is what makes your pipes back up. Just a little advise.

Congrats! I really hope morning (which is a lie... it's all day) sickness doesn't run in our family. I really liked the week to week guide book best because I was so anxious to know what was happening every week. Also, talk to your mom talk to your mom and talk to your mom. Kristal has been SOOO helpful in pregnancy and with a kid and it's the best to just call and ask the stupid little things

WHAT?!? Wow - that's awesome! My advice is to not watch "A Baby Story" on TLC (or anything like unto it.) :) I made that mistake while I was pregnant and I ended up calling Luke at work crying hysterically for an hour. I promise - it is not as bad as you think it is. (As long as you get an epidural. - If you don't, then... good luck.) Just kidding Jes, you'll be fine! And congrats!
